I ran this as a side event at Cascadia and Worlds in Edinburgh, it was wildly popular. I want to let players anywhere in the world enjoy the creative process of coloring your own custom stained glass ID. I am selling the unpainted mirror IDs and tokens here. There are a ton of ways to color the blank IDs, but I've found the most success with POSCA brand acrylic paint pens. You can also use traditional acrylic paints, or permanent markers.
The process is very straight forward and, while some of the designs are more complicated then others, it's very easy to come away with something amazing. Check out the photos from Cascadia and Worlds! I'd love to see what you create!
Q) How long does it take to paint an ID?
A) It depends on the complexity of the design and your personal commitment to detail. It takes me about 15min to paint an Epiphany and 45mins to paint an AU Co.
